"SIBBY MEDIA PRODUCTION"
San Francisco Bay Area independent video filmmaker Sibby has announced
the formation of a new online broadcast video company that will be seen
nationally and internationally on the Internet.
Sibby and her business associate, Bay Area radio broadcast veteran/
journalist, Micheal Ali announced the new formation of Sibby Media
Production. Which will be geared to broadcast family and youth non-profit
agencies video documentaries online via the Internet.
"In my experience in shooting grassroots videos in the community, there is
always a need by family and youth non-profit agencies to tell their success
stories of the type of services and programming that they do! But the problem
is media dollars are scarce in their promotions or advertising budget",
according to Sibby
"That is where Sibby Media Production, intends to fill that void. We are now
recruiting tentative clients that might have small or medium sized budgets,
that can still get state of the art broadcast quality videos that will be aired
online over the Internet both nationally and internationally."
"Having worked public affairs for number of years in radio, I know for a fact
that this type of technology that Sibby Media Productions offering can tell
the true success stories of services and programming that non-profit agencies
do at a reasonable and affordable price," stated Ali.
Sibby an independent video filmmaker, drew much public acclaim for her
grassroots videos from September to November of 2006 with her filming and
documenting of the 'Tent Cities' in the Bay Area City of Richmond.
'Tent Cities' was a positive protest against the high homicide rates in
Richmond, CA involving violence and killing by youth and young adults in
Richmond's most dangerous neighborhoods. For over 40 days, large
segments of the community had a 'camp-out for peace' in the same dangerous
and violent neighborhoods. It drew media attention from around the world.
"I was really proud to be able to be a part of the videos and document a
sizable portion of the 'Tent City' movement as being a independent
filmmaker," states Sibby
Sibby is the owner of 'Happiness R Us', a life skills mentoring organisation
that is for children, parents and families. She also designs and builds
successful websites. However, her great love is filming videos that tells the
stories of the community.
"The formula we have for broadcasting non-profits online with
Sibby Media Production, we will ensure that community will always know
what is going on with their services and programs for the people they serve,"
